Here's how it began: In early 1998, a group of battered, beaten quake playing loners in and around Shreveport/Bossier City LA pulled together in better hopes of survival. They called it NOVA. It failed. Then it was reborn a short month later. Designed to be a clan of people who love the game. No pressure of competition. Just the fun of playing the game. This time it was a resounding success. At one point, we had around twelve members and we were involved with a NOVA alliance that reached into Europe. We were entangled in a friendly war with Alpha Clan aka [AC] on quake2.shreve.net, later moved into Quake 3, and from there people started graduating, PCS'ing, and in general moving on. That was thirteen years ago. As far as I know, I'm the last one still using the [nova] tag. I've played so long with the tag, that I'd feel naked without it. Life is busy, and I don't always have time for gaming, but it's possible that someday [nova] will return. Quake 2 [Nova] skins are here. I play more Urban Terror than anything else these days.
